 Drummer - Howard Ogg

         Hailing from Compton, CA started playing drums when he was 7 years old. Was big into drum corp when he was in high school. Got a chance to play under the direction of Catherine Gomez at UCLA. Howard also had the chance to play with the Santa Clara Vanguard drum corp in the DCI organization. At age 16 he started playing in bands and remembers that when he play a venue he had to step outside when the band took a break because of his age. Howard played with a band called "Redline" a garage band that later played in a battle of the bands which included a band called "Ratt Cellar" better known in the 80's as "RATT". After playing in the battle of the bands Redline lost coming in second and later only made a couple of records and Ratt Cellar, well everyone knows what happened there. They became RATT and came out with their hit smash album "Out of the Cellar". Howard then joined the military and eventually went overseas joined up with fellow musicians Dan Aubrey, Pete Devinje, Uwe Mitinheimer and Butch Simmons and formed the band "Flyer" which became widely well known in Germany. Flyer also played for the troops After the war was over in Desert Storm in front of 5000 troops. After a few persons change in the band Flyer, they formed another Germany hit band called "Shaker" and continued to have success. After returning home Howard played in a number of bands to include Six shooter, Mine or Yours, Blade, Stillrain, Midnight Special, Full Circle and still plays with Dakota Storm (formally Arena), currently with the band JoyRide and has also played with country artist Randy Allen.

Bass - Michael Lanigan

After majoring in music at Berea College, Michael has toured with blues bands, rock bands, folk bands...pretty much anything you can think of. He has played internationally, performing in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. He has spent the past few years performing in lounge bands on cruise ships.

Keith Collins-Guitar, Keyboards, Mandolin, Vocals and Programming

               Began touring in 1980. Multiple years of road experience. Was the musical director for the house band Jailhouse Rockers at Blueberry Hill in Ft. Wayne. Backed up The Tokens, Johnny Thunder, The Diamonds, The Dixie Cups and Frankie Ford. Was the musical director for the house band City Lights at Pieres in Ft. Wayne. Opened for Three Dog Night, Mitch Rider, BTO, Foghat and Henry Lee Summer. Formed Arena in 1995 and opened for Kansas, Little River Band, Foghat, Bad Company and Collective Soul. Joined Sierra Shame in 2007 and toured regionally opening for Jake Owens, Jeff Bates, Cole Deggs and the Lonesome and Little Texas. Moved to North Carolina and joined the Barry Brown band. Opened for Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson and Billy Currington. 
 

 

Jo Zeolla- Vocals, Keyboards

 
              Loved singing from an early age. Sang at the Grand Old Opry when she was 17. Placed second in a talent contest at the Indiana State fair. Began singing with Arena in 1998. Has many years club and road experience. Is currently working on recording her first CD. Has been playing keyboards for 10 years.
