Tracy Carrell & Randy Allen composed this song a few months into the planning of the new album.
Randy was not wanting to rush the process of this Album and wanted to write and show his abilities as a singer / songwriter
and show KMA RECORDS they did make a great choice in signing me to there label in 2009.
" I took my time at choosing and picking songs for this particular album because I wanted it to be special "
This album is dedicated to my mother " Martha Lee Chaney " she was married to the Author "PETE CHANEY" who is known for " "CRISTY LANES" book "ONE DAY AT A TIME"
In 2010 I lost my MOM to pancreatic Cancer and My Step Dad just 30 days after her. This song really touched my heart as we worked on it. And I know it will touch yours also. I hope you listen to it and enjoy it as much as I did writing and recording it!

Daddy was a good man,

With his hand upon his knee.

With a daughter of my own.
I wish she could have known him,
Besides the stories that I’ve told.
