Creating Melodies

I try to look for new ways to create melodies for songs I write.

I like using garage bands built in instruments to play around with new sounds.

Do you have a unique way of finding new melodies for songs you create? Share your thoughts and ideas.

I still work with my guitar as I am retraining my fingers since my mishap. Its been two year and half since my hand injury and still struggle to play.

I use different DAWS in my arsenal to help create a new sound I like. Also if you read music, think about borrowing a few snippets from a favorite song you like and rearranging it to create a new melody. Creating music is a fun process and relaxing.
